It is 5:50AM on Nov.29, 2009 and I am finally getting around to reading my email after a busy and blessed Thanksgiving. Joyce, thank you for treating us like "family" through your words of wisdom, trainings, personal insights and good advice. Thanksgiving is a time that we can assess where we have been and where we may need to go in our business endeavors and personal lives. During these trying economic times we still have so much to be thankful for. (Yes, it could be worse!) I have found that happiness and contentment often comes when we are just thankful for the "little" things that we often take for granted. Best wishes to all during this holiday season.

Thank you Julie for that lovely comment. It is very true, we cannot be happy all of the time. We actually need to face unhappiness and frustration at times to make us realize and be thankful for the happy times. It definitely could be worse!!

When I was little, my wish was for my share of happiness - not happy all the time because I realized even then that that was an unrealistic expectation, but my fair share. And I can report that I have indeed had my fair share. So, for that I am truly grateful. Be thankful for what you have because things could be worse.
